Hartley H10

The H10 dinghy is a new generation of rotor-moulded boats designed by Phil Morrison. It is not only built to withstand the test of time, but it also boasts unique sailing benefits and qualities that make it the most outstanding 10ft (3.04m) dinghy ever designed. However, designing the H10 was no small feat. Hartley Boats presented a list of requirements to be incorporated into the design. The top priority was to build the most stable 10ft (3.04m) dinghy, with comfortable seating suitable for all age groups, a dry cockpit, and a self-draining floor. The boat should have a deep floor and ample legroom, with a high boom to make tacking and gybing easy, as well as an easy reefing system. A boat that would be hard to capsize unless required was also desirable, making it easy for a novice sailor to get upright. When righted, the boat should be empty of water. Additionally, the boat should handle well in big sea conditions and be easy to sail by a four-year-old, with an adult when beginning to sail, or by two youth sailors.

The H10 has been exported to many countries and is used by holiday sailing companies and leading sailing and training centers throughout the UK. The boat is popular with families and has achieved a top position in the sailing world. The H10 dinghy is the most stable 10ft (3.04m) sailing dinghy in the world, designed to give confidence and bring a smile to whoever sails it.

The H10 is not a boring boat; with the right conditions, it can get up and plane, providing an exciting sail.
