We have developed a privacy protection policy of which the objective is to specify the guidelines for governing the collection and use of personal information by Parallel 45 Marine and by www.parallel45marine.com.

All Parallel 45 Marine employees are responsible for day-to-day compliance. Parallel 45 Marine will inform individuals who make enquiries or lodge complaints about its enquiry or complaint procedures, as applicable. Personal Information which We Collect from You and How We Use It

Parallel 45 Marine asks for your name, address, email address, and other personal information when you create an account online. You will also be asked for personal information when you make an online purchase, or enter into contests or promotions. This information is used to process your orders and to allow us to communicate with you. The information also enables Parallel 45 Marine to customize products or services to better meet your preferences and to offer you products and services from Parallel 45 Marine and other sources that may be of interest to you.

To process and/or fulfill your order, trusted third parties may be used to perform the required function, and in such cases, appropriate personal information will be given to them to allow for the service to be provided. Contractual or other appropriate means would always be used to ensure third party compliance with our privacy policy and all applicable privacy laws.

Parallel 45 Marine is not in the business of selling customer information to others. Users’ specific personal information is not currently sold or rented but we may decide to do so in the future. If this were to happen, Parallel 45 Marine would announce such a plan and ask you to “opt in”. If you wanted to share your personal information, you would have to respond. In the absence of such a response, your information would not be shared with anyone other than Parallel 45 Marine.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
