Hartley Gull

After purchasing the copyrights for Gull from the Proctor family, Hartley Boats enlisted the help of a Naval Architect, Phil Morrison, to modernize the Gull.

The changes included a new foredeck, a redesigned rear locker, more comfortable seating with more legroom, and self-bailers. These changes and the boat’s unique chined hull made the Gull the most stable 3.35m dinghy in its field. As a result, the fleet grows yearly with nearly 3,000 sold.

The boat is excellent for both single-handed and double-handed sailing, with the option to add a spinnaker for enthusiastic sailors. For long-haul cruising sailors, the Gull has a slab reefing mainsail with a reefing genoa, allowing for comfortable sailing in big seas and strong winds.

Additionally, the boat is available in various colour options and is built to fit your specific needs and budget.

For racing enthusiasts, the boat has a great PY of 1363 and performs well in handicap racing.

Hartley Boats is proud of its standards and build quality and offers an industry-leading 4-year guarantee.
